Today a judge sentenced Kaya Brown to 19.5 years in the Department of Corrections.
In February 2022, while at a party, Brown targeted two individuals with a firearm. Ryan White and Antonio Chaves were shot at by Brown; White was struck in the chest and succumbed to his injuries.
In April 2023, Brown pled no contest.
