Today, Anthony Gallegos pled guilty to first-degree murder for the death of Ronnie Ross.

In March 2018, Mr. Ross, who was homeless at the time, was found deceased near a sidewalk after being shot 12 times, including a gunshot wound to his forehead and another in his temple. Investigators say on the night of the shooting, Gallegos and a co-defendant “bragged” about the killing of Mr. Ross.

Sentencing will be held at a later date.
