Juvenile Crimes

The Juvenile Division prosecutes individuals who commit crimes when they are under the age of eighteen. All levels of crime are prosecuted in this division, from misdemeanors to felonies, including First Degree Murder. The majority of the cases handled in the division are serious violent felonies, which are often made challenging by the Children's Court fast paced timeline. The condensed timeline for juvenile cases is 120 days, which causes each attorney to have essentially a new caseload every 120 days.
