District Attorney Special Agents Take Man Into Custody for Felony Warrant on Multiple Charges
Today, Special Agents with the Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office took Eloy Quiroz into custody for a Felony Warrant for Battery on a Household Member, False Imprisonment, Interference with Communications and Child Abuse.
BACKGROUND:
On July 2, 2023, Eloy watched a baby he and the alleged victim had together. Investigators say the victim became upset and told police when she arrived home from work, Eloy was highly intoxicated while caring for the baby. Eloy was angry with the victim’s actions and response and began to assault her while she was holding the child. He refused to let her leave and took the telephone away from her as she attempted to contact police. The alleged victim eventually exited the residence and called police for help.
