Today a jury convicted Christopher Powell of Armed Robbery (Firearm Enhancement), Aggravated Battery (Deadly Weapon) (Firearm Enhancement) and Shooting at or from a motor vehicle.
 
Powell is facing 18.5 years of incarceration.
 
The victim had agreed to meet up with a girl at a local park. It was a set-up. While at the park, Christopher Powell pulled out a gun, robbed the victim then shot him in the leg. As the victim drove away, Powell shot at his car.
