On August 25, 2023, court records show Arredondo entered the victim’s residence and began physically assaulting one of her male friends who was inside the home. He grabbed a firearm and made threatening statements toward the male he had assaulted. Then Arredondo grabbed the victim by both of her wrists before placing his hands around her neck and strangling her, causing her to lose the ability to breathe. Investigators say Arredondo caused significant damage to the male friend’s vehicle and pointed a firearm at him, threatening to “kill him.”
