October 21, 2013, one of his victims, who was homeless at the time, met Sena while she out on the streets of ABQ. The victim was violently raped. Investigators linked Sena’s DNA to her sexual assault.

Then in 2017, Sena shot and killed Thomas Ramirez. The two men knew each other. When Sena pulled up in his car, Ramirez walked over. After a short conversation, Sena shot and killed him.

He was sentenced to 25 years in the Department of Corrections followed by up to 20 years of probation after he is released from prison.
