Woman Who Has nearly 30 Prior Arrests Deliberately Crashed into Two Law Enforcement Vehicles

Today Reyhanna Marquez was stopped by APD after Agents spotted her in a stolen motor vehicle in Northeast Albuquerque. Investigators say Marquez began speeding away from the scene, intentionally crashing into an APD unit, then into a car driven by a Special Agent with the District Attorney’s Office.

Court records show Marquez has nearly 30 prior arrests dating back to 2004. Now she has even more.  Today police charged her with Aggravated Assault upon a Peace Officer (Deadly Weapon), Aggravated Fleeing a Law Enforcement Officer (No Injury or Great Bodily Harm), Leaving the Scene of An Accident (No Great Bodily Harm or Death), Leaving the Scene of an Accident (No Great Bodily Harm or Death), Driving With a Suspended License, No Driver’s License and Possession of Drug Paraphenalia.

“Thankfully no one was seriously injured or killed today,” said Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman. “She has a criminal history dating back nearly 20 years with arrest after arrest. This is unacceptable,” Bregman said.
