TWO OF THE SUSPECTS CHARGED WITH THE SHOOTING DEATH OF 5-YEAR- OLD LITTLE GIRL APPEARED IN ADULT COURT WHERE A JUDGE RULED THEY WILL STAY IN CUSTODY.

The Bernalillo County District Attorney’s office is charging five suspects as adults.
The teens are charged in the August 13 fatal shooting of a 5-year-old child. Police believe the teens were in two stolen cars when they drove by a mobile home park in ABQ and opened fire, resulting in the little girl’s death.
Then, four minutes later, they drove by another home and opened fire at that home.

Today, a judge ruled the 16-year-old and and 15-year-old will stay in custody.
Right now all five suspects are being detained.
