The student arrested for bringing a loaded gun onto a high school campus will remain in custody as his case goes through the judicial process.

The 17-year-old was arrested last week after the loaded gun was found in his waistband at West Mesa High School.

District Attorney Sam Bregman has a ZERO tolerance policy for anyone who brings a gun onto a school campus.
