Special Agents with the Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office arrested Ted King. Court records show King had three outstanding warrants on cases involving aggravated stalking, harassment, embezzlement of motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia. Investigators say King, on average, sent 50-100 text messages daily to an ex-girlfriend asking for forgiveness, verbal abuse, threats of self-harm and threats of violence towards her and police. As a result of his case Mr. King was allowed to participate in the Community Custody Program while under GPS monitoring, which he failed to comply and cut off his ankle monitor.
