Shonto Pounds-Moquino Convicted
SENTENCED
Shonto Pounds-Moquino was convicted of attempted criminal sexual penetration and aggravated battery in 2022.
In 2021, a woman was walking downtown with a friend when Pounds-Moquino tackled her, bit her and tried to sexually assault her.
A passerby ran over to help the woman, preventing her from being further sexually assaulted.
Wednesday Pounds-Moquino was sentenced to 15 months of incarceration and must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
