Regina Marie Gomez Found Guilty
Monday evening, a jury found Regina Marie Gomez guilty of sexual exploitation of children, manufacturing, selling or giving alcohol to a minor and conspiracy to commit criminal sexual penetration of a child 13 to 18.
Investigators say in 2016, Gomez gave a teenager alcohol, then recorded the teen being sexually assaulted by her boyfriend, Dayquan Terna. In 2020, Terna plead guilty to criminal sexual penetration aided by another for his part in this case.
Sentencing is set for March 16th.
The Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office would like to thank the special prosecutors and volunteers who are taking part in the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative, bringing justice to victims.
