Today Domminick Mullen pled guilty to 2nd-degree murder, attempted armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery for his role in the murder of Ryan Saavedra Jr.

On April 21, 2021, Mullen was one of five people charged in connection with Saavedra’s death.

The crime happened during a drug-related robbery on the city’s west side.

Mullen faces up to 25 years in the Department of Corrections. Sentencing will take place at a later date.
