A jury has convicted Jeremy Garcia of 2nd Degree Murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. In 2020, Garcia drove his truck onto the grass at Coronado Park and began arguing with Carlos Moody. Garcia circled around the park, and drove toward Moody. Moody pushed his mother out of the way so she wouldn’t get hit. Garcia ran over Moody, killing him. Garcia faces up to 24.5 years in the Department of Corrections.
