Today, a judge ruled the majority of statements made by a man suspected of multiple cold case murders — will be allowed at trial.

July, 2021, Paul Apodaca told police details about the murders of Stella Gonzales, Kaitlyn Arquette and Althea Oakeley. The girls and young women were murdered in different locations in Albuquerque in the 1980s. Investigators say Apodaca told them intimate details about the killings.

Jurors will now be allowed to hear his statements. Apodaca is set to go on trial next year.
