Today, Deputy District Attorneys Karl Swanson and Joey Montoya spoke with students at UNM’s School of Law.

Swanson is the head of the DA’s Diversion Program. Our Diversion Program focuses on treatment and early resolution for non-violent and low-level offenders. Montoya also spoke about issues surrounding mental health in criminal proceedings.
