Special Agents with the Bernalillo Co. District Attorney’s office and Albuquerque Police arrested Tomas Trujillo. Court records show he had outstanding warrants on cases involving possession of a controlled substance,child abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence, aggravated fleeing from law enforcement and receiving or transferring stolen motor vehicle.
Court documents also show Trujillo has an extensive criminal history involving auto theft and using drugs in the vehicle while his infant daughter is in the backseat. During his arrest, it was discovered he was in a stolen vehicle. When Agents and APD made contact, Trujillo fled but was eventually stopped and taken into custody without incident. Agents charged him with Receiving/Transferring a Stolen Vehicle, Aggravated Fleeing from Law Enforcement, and his outstanding felony warrants.
