BACKGROUND:
Court records show June, 2022, Shane Blanchard attended a concert at the Launchpad in Downtown ABQ. As he was leaving, he demanded a T-shirt from the victim. Investigators say Blanchard brandished a firearm from his waistband when the victim refused to give him the shirt.
Court records show the victim got into a car. Blanchard got into another vehicle and fired multiple shots at the victim, injuring him.
Blanchard was picked up by Bernco DA Agents today. He’s charged with four counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Negligent use of a Deadly Weapon and shooting at a Dwelling or Occupied Building.
