Today a jury found Adelio Gallegos Jr. guilty of first-degree murder and tampering with evidence for the January 25, 2021 shooting death of 63-year old Mike Guerra.
The shooting happened outside an ABQ methadone clinic following a minor fender bender. An argument ensued after Gallegos demanded payment, then Gallegos went to his car to retrieve a rifle and shot Mr. Guerra.
The crime was captured on security video.
Gallegos faces life in prison.
