The General Crimes Division handles felony prosecutions including property crimes, drug-trafficking, and auto-theft. This division plays an integral role in successfully training attorneys to move on and handle more serious cases or to move into other divisions, including sending attorneys to our Juvenile Division, to the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) division, the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) unit, the Major Crimes division, and even an attorney to oversee Governor Lujan Grisham's re-established Organized Crime Commission.
